The Great Wall of China

The  history of Great wall of China goes back to the 5th century BC. It was built between the 5th century BC and the 16th century to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire. The great Wall is the worlds longest building structure approximately 6,400 km (4,000 miles).

Petra The Forgotten City

The City of Petra was hidden in the mountains of Jordan for thousands of years when a young Swiss explorer Johan Ludwig Burckhardt rediscovered it in 1812. Temples, tombs, and other buildings are all carved out of the sandstone cliffs, wich also gives it the name the “rose red city”.

Grand Canyon Grandeur Point

It is not much visited because there is no close road access, but still the view from it is spectacular. You can look down on the whole length of the Bright Angel Trail. In the horizon, you can se the 8,000 foot North Kaibab Plateau.
